Right at the entrance of Liverpool Street Station, you’ll find this impressive building on the corner. 50 Liverpool Street easily catches the eye, with its arched windows and decorative original features, so inside we’ve kept things clean, with contemporary design and lots of natural light. We’re lucky to have 50 Liverpool Street as part of the community – it was the target of London’s first attack in WWI and was saved from demolition in the now famous 1979 conservation campaign run by Sirs John Betjeman and Spike Milligan. Standing in such an iconic area with a vibrant social scene and some pretty enviable culinary offerings, we knew this building would be special. We ran with its classic architecture and high ceilings to create private offices, meeting rooms, event space and a drop-in lounge with modern copper and steel mesh accents, while keeping our references to the classic with stained timber and panelling.
